Altamaha River Rat Run

In June the Baxley-Appling County Board of Tourism sponsors their Annual Canoe Paddles down the beautiful Altamaha River.  The Canoe Excursion begins at Deen's Landing and concludes at Eason's Bluff Landing for a total trip of 14 miles.  This excursion is at your own pace with several area sandbars to stop and rest or play. If you are looking for GREAT fun for the entire family, join us on our next River Rat Run excursion.

Altamaha River Fall Canoe Paddle

In September the Baxley-Appling County Board of Tourism & Hazlehurt/Jeff-Davis County Board of Tourism sponsor their Annual Fall Canoe Paddle down the beautiful Altamaha River.  The Canoe Excursion begins at Town's Bluff Landing in Jeff-Davis County and concludes at Deen's Landing in Appling County for a total trip of 17 miles.  This excursion is at your own pace with several area sandbars to stop and rest or play. If you are looking for GREAT fun for the entire family, join us on our next Canoe Paddle.
