| City Flag Contest
The City of Baxley is considering a new design for its official city flag. In doing so, the Mayor and Council would like input from the community. As a result, the City would like to sponsor an art contest for a proposed flag design. If your proposal is selected, a cash prize of $150 will be awarded. Please keep in mind that Baxley is known as the "Turpentine city", however, any design will be considered. If interested, please submit all proposals to Baxley City Hall at 148 Copeland Street between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or mail them to P.O. box 209, Baxley, GA, 31515. You may submit as many proposals as you like. The deadline for proposals is Friday, March 30th, 2007. All mail-in proposals must be postmarked by the aforementioned date as well.
